I earned my GRI (Graduate of the Realtor Insitute) designation in 1991 and my broker's license in 1997. I have owned three Century 21 franchises before earning my instructor's license and opening Nature Coast Real Estate School, where I currently teach real estate and mortgage licensing classes. I am a GRI 3 instructor for Property Management for Florida Realtors (FR) and also teach the National Association of Realtors (NAR)Code of Ethics. I received my Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation in 2005, in order to assist the needs of the retired population. As the market began to shift and distressed properties began to flood the market, I received my Short Sale Foreclosure Resource Certification (SFR), in order to stay on the cutting edge of the real estate market. In 2010 I decided to take my business global, Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation, the Transnational Referral Certification (TRC) and At Home With Diversity (AHWD) Certification.

When I am not selling real estate or teaching, I am an avid volunteer for my community. I am a past Chair of the Government Affairs Committee for the Hernando County Association of Realtors, Director of the Hernando County Association of Realtors, and Director of the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce. I served as Board Chair of the Chamber in 2005-2006. Governor Bush appointed me to the District Board of Trustees for Pasco-Hernando Community College, where I have served three terms as Board Chair and retired from the Board in 2014..
