I began selling real estate as an associate in 1990 in Florida. I earned my GRI (Graduate of the Realtor Insitute) designation in 1991 and my broker's license in 1997. I have owned three Century 21 franchises, managed and trained for Coldwell Banker franchises, and owned and trained for EXIT Realty franchises. I am a GRI 3 instructor for Property Management for FAR and also teach the National Association of Realtors (NAR)Code of Ethics. I received my Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation in 2005, in order to assist the needs of the retired population.
Teaching and training is my passion! I currently own Hernando County's only real estate school that features live classroom instruction, Nature Coast Real Estate School which offers pre-licensing and post-licensing classes for sales associates and brokers. When I am not selling real estate or teaching, I am an avid volunteer for my community. I am a past Chair of the Government Affairs Committee for the Hernando County Association of Realtors, Director of the Hernando County Association of Realtors, and Director of the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce. I served as Board Chair of the Chamber in 2005-2006. Governor Bush appointed me to the District Board of Trustees for Pasco-Hernando Community College, where I have served two terms as Board Chair. I was recently reappointed to this board by Governor Crist.
I currently serve on the Professional Standards Committee for Hernando County and the Education Committee for the West Pasco Board of Realtors.
